Welcome to Orchard Farm Cattery

We all love our cats and it's always a worry to leave them with somebody else. Well, there's no need to worry any more! Here at Orchard Farm we have what we consider the best facilities for the comfort and well-being of your cat. We, and our staff, are all cat lovers and you can rest assured that your beloved cat will be well cared for - and loved. And we are on site 24 hours a day.

Orchard Farm Cattery is set in over four acres of Hertfordshire countryside and is accessible only through security gates on a quiet country lane with no through traffic (apart from a bus, now and again). Orchard Farm Cattery has been open since 2004 and, during that time, we have received many recommendations from local vets. In fact, many of the local vets and veterinary nurses use our cattery for their own animals. Security is high on our list of priorities so all of our runs have been designed to allow nothing out and nothing in! We have even installed double safe access doors to prevent a cat making a bolt for it when we need to feed or attend to it.

Here at Orchard Farm we are proud to take part in the Work Experience placement scheme. We work with local secondary schools and are fortunate to be able to help many young adults gain experience for their future careers as vets and veterinary nurses. Seb joined me last summer for work experience as part of his veterinary training. Jordan helps me full time and does a wonderful job caring for our cats, as do all our staff.

PLEASE NOTE: You may see a FOR SALE sign as you enter the Cattery site. This only refers to the sale of one of the two houses.
The Cattery is not affected and will go on, hopefully, indefinitely. I will still be living on site in the house behind the Cattery.
